Day 1 You departure from Quito. This path in the northern Highlands is surrounded by beautiful lakes and mountains. Briefs stops in little towns like Guayllabamba and Calderon, a town where the famous “masapan” dolls are made. We will visit Otavalo and its famous Indigenous Market, this colorful market hosts a variety of different handcrafted items.

Continuing the trip, we will go to San Antonio de Ibarra famous because of its wood artisans. Late arrival to Polylepis an spectacular private reserve in the top of the mountains.
After dinner you will enjoy the "light treeking in this ancient forest".
