The 47 cabin M/V Santa Cruz, the only large ship built exclusively for Galapagos Islands cruising, was completely renovated in 1998, having been redesigned and refurbished inside and out. The entire ship is air-conditioned.

The Sun Deck has been lengthened and a new deck-bar and Jacuzzi have been installed, along with an observation area for dolphin and whale watching. The dining room, lounge and bar have been elegantly remodeled and there is a new reading room and library.

Amenities include: spacious cocktail lounge, dining room, sunning areas and a small boutique. Travelers looking for the stability of a large ship will find the Santa Cruz attractive.
